A little while ago I joined a great online creative community called

It is a place where you can upload your work forothers to see and commetn and even buy in many different formats (cards, posters, t-shirts) and it is also a great place to network and meet other artists…. I met Helen Who is a wonderful photographer and designer and we have planned to do a few collaberation.

Collaboration #1 – Corset City shoot

I decided after years of wanting one that I would buy myself an actual corset but havent had that many reasons to wear it so I wanted to have some portraits done in it, so I got to play model.

I got a few props and had some ideas on where in the city I wanted to be shot and so on a wonderfully balmy Melbourne night last week we went into the city for our shoot.

Another redbubbler Jenny came too and we started drinking Japanese plum wine (umeshu)and eating edamame (soy beans) then met Helen and ate some fantastic asian food then off to find somewhere to get changed…

We ended up in the tiolets at the Kino cinema and it would hve looked very strange seeing 3 girls in the toilets trying to do up a corset..

Then it was hunting around the city to find some great places to shoot…. We went tothe steps of the parlimetn building andthere is always police there and thanks to officer Haore I felt like I had my own security watching out for me… It was a great night.
